There is something I love about smooth white materials mixed with rougher rustic ones!

He has used stunning Panton chairs against the grey exposed brickwork. Perfect combo.
This is a similar look. The stunning range above is a few pieces designed by Bich and family at http://www.nomliving.com/ and then produced by her craftsmen in Cambodia. Every piece is loving thought out and designed to have a great feel when eaten from it. In this photo I have placed three of her designs on a simple white high gloss lacquer tray to add the different textures, again Grey and white!
These photos also remind me of the very ‘on trend’ Nordic style that has made its way over here. We have become increasingly familiar with the gorgeous danish and Swedish / Scandinavian designs that have been knocking on our doors for the last 15 years and now in fact you can’t miss it. It’s everywhere and rightly so as they get it right every time, with the simple but stylish designs. But this year we will see more of the Nordic / Icelandic touches. You can imagine grey and white deep pile sheepskin rugs just in time for spring added to these photo’s. Fresh but warm and of course stylish. We usually see interior design follow fashion then of course the food usually follows suit too. The small plates would work so well with a simple fresh fish served cold with some lightly pickled vegetables and delicate micro herbs to complete the look. …I’m a sucker for grey so bring it on in fashion and interiors I say.
